Coming Friday, October 26, 2012: “Return To Ravnica” Event Decks!

As you know, Event Decks are far more competitive than an Intro Deck- and these decks do not disappoint! Whether you’re new or looking to try a new deck idea, these decks are for you!

And talk about value! The Golgari deck called “Creep And Conquer” has a Thragtusk (currently $20 on starcitygames.com) and the Rakdos deck called “Wrack And Rage” has a Vexing Devil, Devil’s Play, and Mizzium Mortar just to name a few of the rares!

Like all Event Decks, these are limited- we will have a very small supply of them so if you’re interested please send me an email or call ahead and I’ll set one aside for you!

Sometimes reality steps in and reminds us the real reason we play games.

We play to build community; all of these games we have here are nothing unless you have someone to share it with…

Over the weekend, Dakota B told me one of our gamers, Dana Janssen,Â had been diagnosed with cancer and wasnt able to come out and play. Mind you the Prerelease is an incredibly busy time and I didnt get the chance I wanted to to talk to Dakota about Dana. But we were able to gather a small pool of cards, packs, and decks to give to Dana- all donated by our community!

Dana, we wish you well and we hope you will have a speedy recovery!

Hello!

Normally, we only host a single 2HG (Two-Headed Giant) event on our Prerelease weekend, but over the last few days, several people have asked us to add another 2HG event for Sunday, September 30 at 10 AM!

If you’re interested in playing, please send me an email asap and I will hold onto a spot for you and your teammate!

Know that we will be using TWELVE packs instead of the usual eight for 2HG!
